Demon eyes are small flying aberrations believed to be related to beholders. Unlike their larger kin, demon eyes are utterly incapable of firing eye beams, instead relying on slamming into their targets to kill them. They do this simply to spread misery, as they have neither mouths nor need for physical sustenance.

Eye Nature. A demon eye doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
