Ceaseless Shrieking. Each creature that starts its turn within 50 feet of the deerachnid and can hear must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be deafened for 1 minute. An affected creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

ACTIONS

Legs. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage.

Web (Recharge 5-6). Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 15 ft., one creature. Hit: The target is restrained by webbing. As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 12 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 10; hp 5; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage).

A deerachnid is a strange creature that somewhat resembles a deer with eight legs that end in sharp blades. The deerachnid is most well known for its constant shrieking, a sound so horrible that it drives most of its predators away, leaving the creature to feed on grasses and ground plants. Those that can endure the noise are ensnared within a web launched from the creature's mouth, giving the deerachnid time to flee.
