Dagger and Rope (5e Equipment)

This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Why would adding a rope to a Dagger make it deal more damage?

This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: Thrown property needs range. What kind of action does pulling the dagger back require? Couldn't you attached a rope to any thrown weapon? I'd suggest making a page similar to Armor Modifications (5e Variant Rule) with a focus on weapons instead, since this doesn't really constitute being its own weapon.
