ACTIONS

Multiattack. The curator makes one bite attack and two claw attacks. It can replace its bite with a Sonic Attack, and both claw attacks with a Wing Attack.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (4d8 + 3) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (4d6 + 5) slashing damage.

Sonic Attack (Recharge 4-6). The curator uses one of the following sonic attacks:

Screech. The curator inhales deeply, then releases a debilitating wave of sound. Each creature in a 120 foot cone must make a DC 18 Dexterity save. On a failed save, a creature takes 11 (3d6 + 1) thunder damage, or half as much damage on a success; the curator has advantage on attack rolls against it until the start of the creature's next turn. Shockwave. The curator emits a burst of compressed sound which explodes on contact. Each creature within 30 foot of a point the curator chooses within 90 feet of itself makes a DC 21 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 15 (4d6 + 1) thunder damage and becomes deafened for 1 minute; on a success, it takes half as much damage.

Wing Attack. The curator beats its wings. Each creature within 10 feet of the curator must succeed on a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 15 (2d6 + 8) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The curator can then fly up to half its flying speed.

Intelligent, locomotive-sized chiroptera, able to pull an elephant apart with their claws, or pummel it to pieces with their hellish shrieks. They are covered in a fine, dull fur; their bodies are thin, the ridges of their ribs pressing through the patchy dull fur. A curator's wings are thin but sturdy, with a texture between sailcloth and supple leather. The creatures' teeth are long, serrated, and sharp as chisels. Their vast jaws display a row of yellowing fangs; each is stubbornly rooted in the scarlet, glistening gum.
Curators accumulate hoards, which they guard violently. Each hoard collects artifacts or creatures themed to the curator’s particular obsession. A curator typically carries items using a tight net harness strapped to its body. They attach their large, papery eggs between rocks or in high places, which resemble wasp's nests and can contain treasure.
If not solitary, curators are often used as messengers or servants by powerful beings due to their intelligence, strength, and speedy flight.

gollark: You haven't learned haskell until you have a blog on which you post articles about "comonadic composition" and "selective applicative functors" and stuff.
