This template refers to a unique and powerful kind of conjuring. It should be treated extremely carefully.

Conjured Creature

3e Summary::Not a natural creature, rather one that was conjured up via the use of powerful magic.

Conjured creatures are, seemingly, just as real as any other creature. However, they are not; they were actually conjured up via the use of powerful magic. Conjured creatures cannot be killed as long as their conjurer is alive, however their conjurer can also decide to de-conjure them at any time.

Creating a Conjured Creature

Conjured is an inherited template that can be applied on any creature (depending on the campaign world, some creatures may be unsuitable for this template) (referred to hereafter as the base creature). A conjured creature uses all the base creature’s statistics and special abilities except as noted here.

Special Qualities

Conjured: The creature was conjured, not born. As a result, they have the following characteristics:

Indestructible: Conjured creatures are linked to their conjurer and can never be killed as long as their conjurer is alive, regardless of how much damage they sustain. Any life-risking injury they receive is healed as if they have regeneration 10/-, and they restore 1 point of Constitution damage per round and 1 point of drained Constitution per minute, regardless of the circumstances. Even if their body was somehow completely destroyed, eventually they will be recreated at full health. However, any injury they sustain that doesn't pose any urgent threat to their existence, as well as any other ability damage/drain that isn't to their Constitution score, is healed at the normal rate of their species.

Ageless Immortal: Conjured creatures don't naturally age beyond the age they were conjured at. They may still age via magic, however only with their conjurer's consent.

Burden of Conjuration: Conjured creatures can be de-conjured by their conjurer at any time. However, they can also be re-conjured by their conjurer at any time. Notably, upon being re-conjured, they retain full recollection of all the previous times they were conjured.
