Weapon(saber), artifact (requires attunement)

The blade of this sword is made of damascened steel. it has a polished platinum hilt and its guard is embedded with a sapphire cut in the shape of a star, Its grip is icy cold to the touch and, while unsheathed, the surrounding area grows dimmer as if it is devouring the nearby light. this blade is imbued with the blessing of the Raven queen.


The Coldsaber is a magic, sentient saber that grants a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. deals an extra 2d10 slashing damage to demons and undead. It has the following additional properties.


Devour the Wicked. Hit points lost to this weapon's damage can be regained only through a short or long rest, rather than by regeneration, magic, or any other means. A creature whose reduced to 0 hit points from damage dealt by the Coldsaber dies and can't be revived by any means short of a wish spell. This effect negates an Outsider's ability to reform in its home plane.



Mage Eater You gain magic resistance. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can choose to cast dispel magic on your target at part of the attack. Alternatively, you can use your action to cast Dispel Magic at a target of your choice. the spell is cast at the 5th level, and the Ability check bonus for this spell is +3.
Random Properties. The Coldsaber has the following random properties:

  • 1 minor beneficial property
  • 1 major beneficial property
  • 1 minor detrimental property
  • 1 major detrimental property


Sentience. ColdSaber is a sentient chaotic good weapon with an Intelligence of 13, a Wisdom of 15, and a Charisma of 11. It has true sight, notices secret doors hidden by magic, and can see into the Ethereal Plane, all out to a range of 120 feet. The weapon can speak, read, and understand Infernal, Celestial and Abyssal, and can communicate with its wielder telepathically. It is incredibly old. Its voice is feminine, deep, and rich. While you are attuned to it, The ColdSaber can also understand every language you know.
Personality. A voracious deva named Adrasteia lives within the ColdSaber. The ColdSaber maintains a single-minded determination to hunt and Devour the unholy. The Sword will tirelessly pursue any action that results in the death of the unholy or any of their servants. not so much because it wants to rid the world of evil but because it wants revenge for its Corruption. It wishes to be used by Relentless creatures who will feed her when ordered to.
Destroying the Coldsaber. The weapon can be broken only by a blow from the wand of Orcus.
