The Cockatrice is often mistaken for a Basilisk, and the Basilisk, as well, is also mistaken for the Cockatrice. They are different, however. While maybe part of the same genus, they are different species of Draconid. They have different behaviour patterns, as well as pigmentations, diets, and numerous other things.

gollark: I think the problem is that the `<main>` thing doesn't actually have much of a "minimum width", so the browser happily contracts it 1927192.
