Many layers of woven cloth sewn together, for a cheap defense. This type of armor is common among homesteaders who rely on their own skills to craft and sell goods. If anything it looks more like a Halloween costume than armor. It's also a little itchy.
Cheap Defence: Cloth armor can only take and protect you from 20 points of damage before it rips, rendering it useless.

gollark: The annoying thing is that, regardless of whether the mRNA ones *are* actually bad at all, with wide enough deployment someone will get a heart attack or something after getting it due to sheer random chance and people will start complaining.
