Cloak of Insect Flying (5e Equipment)

Wondrous item, legendary

While wearing this cloak you have a flying speed of 120 feet.

Uncontrollable Speed. When you use these wings to fly, you must expend all of your remaining movement to go in a straight line in a single direction of your choice. If a solid object is encountered during your movement, you strike it just as you would during a normal downward fall. While using your flying speed you can only safely land (when within 5 feet of the ground) or decelerate into a hover at the end of your turn. In addition you can't dash while in flight with these wings.

While wearing the cloak you also gain an effect that is distinct to its insect type. The DM can choose the wing type or determine it randomly using the table below.
