Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement)

A charge leech releases empowering chemicals into its user.

While attempting to attune to the charge leech you take one level of exhaustion.

Once bonded you gain the following benefits:

When you finish a long rest, you gain 2d8 temporary hit points.
If you are proficient with Constitution saving throws, you can add double your proficiency bonus to all Constitution saving throws. If you do not have proficiency in Constitution saving throws then you become proficient while attuned.

To unattune from the charge leech the user must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, and whether or not the save was successful they take 2d8 poison damage.
