Bulbasaur are small, rare plant-dinosaur Pokémon, often gifted to trainers as they begin their journey. The flower that is on the back of every bulbasaur, though not quite bloomed, can give off a sweet smell, not to mention look big on such an adorable Pokémon. Bulbasaur have this seed on their backs from birth and use it to grow, and as they grow so does the plant on their back.

gollark: Time travel seems pretty hard to reason about for our operating-in-linear-time brains.
