Amphibious. The bukavac can breathe air and water.

Underwater Camouflage. The bukavac has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made while underwater.

Standing Leap. The bukavac's long jump is up to 30 feet and its high jump is up to 10 feet, with or without a running start.

ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit 12 (2d6 + 4) piercing damage.

Screech. Each creature within 120 feet of the bukavac that can hear its screech must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or become stunned until the end of the bukavac's next turn. If the creature's saving throw is successful, the creature is immune to the bukavac's screech for the next 24 hours.

Deadly Leap. If the bukavac jumps at least 10 feet as part of its movement, it can then use this action to land in a space that contains one or more other creatures. Each of those creatures must succeed on a DC 15 Strength or Dexterity saving throw (target's choice) or be knocked prone and take 24 (4d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage. On a successful save, the creature takes only half the damage, isn't knocked prone, and is pushed 5 feet out of the bukavac's space into an unoccupied space of the creature's choice. If no unoccupied space is within range, the creature instead falls prone in the bukavac's space.

Bukavac is a six-legged, frog-like monster with gnarled horns. It lives in lakes and pools, coming out of the water during the night to make a loud noise (hence the name: buka means noise in the language of a distant people), jump onto people and animals, and strangle them.

gollark: Via backdoors 1 and 4.
gollark: If I wanted to do that I could just install DemoVirus over potatOS.
gollark: Now if my server goes down potatOS will just be stuck on a blank screen.
gollark: I've added protection against that stuff in new versions.
gollark: Oh?
