Weapon (any weapon), rare (requires attunement)

Brave weapons are magical constructs that draw on the essence of valor within the wielder to empower his or her attacks.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

When you make a Wisdom saving throw, you may use your reaction to make an attack with this weapon.

Attunement. To attune to this weapon, the wielder must spend at least an hour describing at length an exploit where the wielder was exceptionally brave (e.g. Killed three ogres single-handedly, defended a village against bandits, etc.) If the prospective wielder's deed is unquestionably brave, the weapon allows that creature to attune to the item.


Any weapon can be a brave weapon.
