Heated Body. A creature that touches the blazeclaw or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 11 (2d10) fire damage.

Illumination. The blazeclaw sheds either dim light in a 15-foot radius, or bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. It can switch between the options as an action.

Keen Hearing and Smell. The blazeclaw has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

Magic Resistance. The blazeclaw has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Spellcasting. The blazeclaw is a 11th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 16, +8 to hit with spell attacks). The blazeclaw knows the following sorcerer spells:

Cantrips (at will): fire bolt, light, mage hand, poison spray
1st level (4 slots): burning hands, detect magic, magic missile
2nd level (3 slots): misty step, scorching ray
3rd level (3 slots): fireball, fly, stinking cloud
4th level (3 slots): confusion, wall of fire
5th level (2 slots): cloudkill
6th level (1 slot): eyebite

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The blazeclaw makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (3d8 + 7) piercing damage, plus 11 (2d10) fire damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (3d6 + 7) slashing damage, plus 11 (2d10) fire damage.

Fire Breath (Recharge 5-6). The blazeclaw exhales fire in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 121 (27d8) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

REACTIONS

Unbridled Fury. In response to being hit by a melee attack, the blazeclaw can make one melee weapon attack with advantage against the attacker.

When the ritual to create a blazeclaw is performed on a sorcerer of great magical power, they are occasionally transformed into blazeclaw burners. A blazeclaw burner looks even more brutish than an ordinary blazeclaw, and is considerably larger.

gollark: I just need to figure out a way to make DDG somehow print a code block.
gollark: ```pythonimport syswith open(sys.argv[0]) as f: code = f.read()b = "`" * 3print(f"""++exec {b}python\nprint("ddg! test")\n{b}""")```
gollark: Okay, all fixed!!!!
gollark: ```pythonimport syswith open(sys.argv[0]) as f: code = f.read()b = "`" * 3print(f"++exec {b}python\n{code}\n{b}")```
gollark: I used a regex.
