Charge. If the slime moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a pseudopod attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 4 (1d8) bludgeoning damage.

Slippery. The slime has advantage on ability checks and saving throws made to escape a grapple.

Standing Leap. The slime's long jump is up to 20 feet and its high jump is up to 10 feet, with or without a running start.

ACTIONS

Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) acid damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or become blinded until the end of its next turn.


A simple, gelatinous creature that swallows anything and everything whole. It takes a long time to digest anything. Black slimes are very similar to yellow slimes, but are more adapted to a subterranean environment.

Ooze Nature. A black slime doesn't require sleep.
