Birthright (5e Sourcebook)

Birthright

The Birthright sourcebook is a rule system which alters the assumptions of character creation and power level of a D&D game. With this optional system, player characters are descendants or chosen champions of their world's god (or god), and thus recieve a birthright - an inheritance of extraordinary power, which makes them much more powerful than usual.

Character Creation

Characters created with this rule system receive two special powers: An "attribute" power, and an "other" power. Attribute powers are tied to a character's ability scores, and generally function passively. Other powers are harder to categorize, but are generally things such as magical spells that must be invoked.
