A good bard has to be able to play an instrument and also needs to know how to sing. This potion gets rid of the need to be able to do either.
The bard's cheat sheet gives you the ability to sing and play any instrument for 1d4 hours, or more precisely, it gives you proficiency with all instruments and advantage on Charisma (Performance) checks for the duration. It is highly looked down upon in the world of a musician and those found using it are highly discriminated.
