Second it causes any creature that dies in the area of affect to be instantaneously affected by animate dead. This effect functions throughout the entire site and effects all creatures who die in the area of affect. Unlike the normal animate dead spell, these undead are always zombies, do not follow your spoken commands and only attack the nearest living creature in the area of affect. They remain animated until they are destroyed. (A destroyed zombie can’t be animated again.) You cannot cause a creature of greater Hit Dice than your caster level to animate as a zombie (desecrate has no affect on this limit.)
