Charge (Stag or True Form Only). If the actaeon moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a ram attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 7 (2d6) damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 19 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the actaeon can make one attack with its hooves against it as a bonus action.

Magic Resistance. The actaeon has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Magic Weapons. The actaeon's weapon attacks are magical.

Shapechanger. The actaeon can use its action to polymorph into a Large stag, a Small or Medium humanoid, or back into its true form. Other than its size and speed, its statistics are the same in each form. It reverts to its true form if it dies. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying is absorbed or borne by the new form (the actaeon's choice).

Spellcasting. The actaeon is a 10th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 18, +10 to hit with spell attacks). It has the following druid spells prepared:

Cantrips (at will): druidcraft, mending, produce flame
1st level (4 slots): entangle, longstrider, speak with animals, thunderwave
2nd level (3 slots): animal messenger, locate animals or plants, spike growth
3rd level (3 slots): call lightning, conjure animals, dispel magic
4th level (3 slots): conjure woodland beings, dominate beast, polymorph
5th level (2 slots): awaken, commune with nature

ACTIONS

Multiattack (Humanoid or True Form Only). The actaeon makes three attacks, only one of which can be a ram.

Spear (Humanoid or True Form Only). Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) piercing damage or 15 (2d8 + 6) piercing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack.

Longbow (Humanoid or True Form Only). Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d8 + 3) piercing damage.

Ram (Stag or True Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage.

Hooves (Stag or True Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one prone creature. Hit: 16 (3d6 + 6) bludgeoning damage.

Invisibility. The actaeon magically turns invisible until it attacks or until its concentration ends (as if concentrating on a spell). Any equipment the actaeon wears or carries is invisible with it.

Actaeons are powerful fey that tolerate no evil in the lands they protect. The average actaeon is 9 feet tall, and its body combines traits of stags and humanoids. It possesses a stag-like head and the legs of a stag, though its torso and arms are humanoid. They can also turn invisible or enter a completely stag-like or humanoid form.

Mythical Origins. According to myths, the first actaeon was a hunter of legendary prowess, whose skill impressed even the gods. When he died, his soul was transformed into a fey being, becoming the first actaeon. Some say that the original actaeon still wanders the planes, imbuing those he deems worthy with a sliver of his great power, transforming them into actaeons.

Fey Guardians. Actaeons are usually solitary, and claim an area of forest as a territory. They zealously guard this territory and the creatures within it from evildoers and those that would wish them harm. If an actaeon finds intruders, it will spy on them invisibly or in stag form, assessing their strengths and weaknesses. When the time is right, the actaeon will strike, crushing opponents with its blows, and making full use of its magic.

gollark: It's possible that the 10900K is better at some stuff. But most people want "best for X price", not "absolute best ever".
gollark: Shut up you'r ewrong.
gollark: Are you aware of "budgets"?]
gollark: But most people DO NOT NEED the fastest possible device.
gollark: I mean, possibly, by some marginally tiny amount?
