Innate Spellcasting (Psionics). The abigor's spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 13). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will: detect magic, mage hand, minor illusion, prestidigitation, shocking grasp
3/day each: counterspell, detect thoughts, magic missile, levitate
1/day each: fireball, suggestion

ACTIONS

Mind Blast (Recharge 5–6). The abigor emits psychic energy in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 14 Intelligence saving throw or take 12 (3d6 + 2) psychic damage and be stunned for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

These tiny, timid beings are among the most intelligent of known monsters and most versatile of psionics, able to manifest a variety of kinetic phenomena, illusionary stimulus and other unusual effects with their powerful neural broadcasts. Telesensitive to the emotions of other beings, they tend to avoid causing any unnecessary pain or distress and utilize their abilities almost exclusively for self-defense.
Abigor are most commonly created by other abigor as study partners, obsessed with gathering information for its own sake and particularly enamored with books, desiring a steady supply of them regardless of subject matter. They are also sometimes created by wizards or other scholars of the arcane, either for similar purposes or to serve as a cross between lab assistants, apprentices, and/or guinea pigs. The only sound an abigor makes is a soft bubbling and fizzing- the audible activity of its large and hyper-aware brain.

gollark: I think other players can get the sword too, but this sort of thing is ridiculous.
gollark: This code seems to be putting some sword or other into the inventory of a player given as argument, if they are "ACheatyBastardOfCheatBastardness", and runs on player login.
