p36 toad hassler
P36 toad hassler is a period-36 oscillator found by Robert Wainwright in June 1984,[1] being the first period 36 oscillator to be found.[note 1] It is composed of two snackers hassling a toad. The form to the right is a toadflipper and has the smallest bounding box of the period 36 toad hasslers. Toadsuckers are also possible, as shown below.

gollark: Euler's constant.
gollark: e.
gollark: e is a slightly less appreciated constant.
gollark: You know what you should also do? Learn e.
gollark: And probably good enough for most practical uses, but you know.

Notes
- A period-36 oscillator, middleweight emulator on snacker, can be constructed from two sparkers (middleweight emulator and snacker) both of which were known by 1980. However, this type of oscillator is generally considered "boring", and thus not counted despite technically being non-trivial.
