Infinite LWSS hotel
The infinite LWSS hotel is a pattern that was found by Jason Summers on October 20, 2002 that contains an ever-expanding lightweight spaceship track. One new lightweight spaceship is added to the loop every 250 generations. The preexisting lightweight spaceships reenter the stream at a point 12/25ths of the way between two new lightweight spaceships; unlike earlier patterns of this type, this one will not work (for long) if the old spaceships re-enter exactly halfway between the new ones.
