Four eaters hassling four bookends

Four eaters hassling four bookends is a period-18 oscillator that was discovered by Jason Summers and Gabriel Nivasch on October 16, 2002. A 45-glider synthesis of this oscillator was found by Mark Niemiec the month of its discovery.[1]
