117P18

117P18 is an unnamed period-18 oscillator. It was the first period 18 oscillator to be found,[note 1] and was discovered by David Buckingham no later than May, 1991.[1]

Notes

  1. A period-18 oscillator, unix on snacker, can be constructed from two sparkers (unix and snacker) both of which were definitely known by 1976. However, this type of oscillator is generally considered "boring", and thus not counted despite technically being non-trivial.
gollark: Yes it does.
gollark: `-t` requires an argument, honestly.
gollark: Because it's a cheap .tk domain?
gollark: You're going down.
gollark: Your IP has been traced to 127.0.0.1.
