• Adaptation Displacement - The movie is based on an episode of Masters of Horror called "Dance Of The Dead" which featured which also Robert Englund as the host of the zombie strip-club in an After the End American city.
  • It is also proposed that is inspired by Eugene Ionesco's classic play "Rhinoceros".
  • "Dance of the Dead", in return, displaced the original Richard Matheson story, "Dance of the Dead".
