Zenon/YMMV

  • Mondegreen: This troper cannot be the only one who misheard Zenon's Catch Phrase "Zetus Lupetis" incorrectly the first time around.
  • Periphery Demographic: Zenon was targeted at tween girls. Its actual fanbase is all over the map, and doesn't just include those people who were tween girls when they saw it; it also includes geeky types who are in it for the Narm Charm, a few people who think it's a legitimately good movie, and of course the older male fanbase that we don't like to talk about.
  • So Bad It's Good: It's a Totally Radical Disney tween flick that was faaaaar into Zeerust even when it was made, the music is pure tweenypop written in Future Slang, and even elementary schoolers know that you use metric in science class. But the movies play everything so completely straight, without even a hint of parody, that your brain can just disengage and enjoy it.
