• Right after Sandra was blasted, her life flashed before her eyes ... and before Sam's. So when Sandra shows up in a murderous daze, he calmly picks up a piece of broken glass and cuts his own throat so she will see who she is through his flashback.
• Multiple points in the "Moongames" storyline:
  • Shaking hands with a werewolf to snap its finger.
  • Pre-empting every clichéd line his captors try to taunt him with.
  • Bitch-slapping a wolf three times.

Jack Clarity

• ...coming to the rescue:

Jack (narrating): Either Broadshoulders didn't know about this or he didn't think I'd have the guts to go through with it. Screw him. I know I'm a slacker. I know I'm a pervert. But I'm not a coward.
Jack (aloud, calmly driving a nail into his thumbnail): Responsibility.
