Zapruder film/Tear Jerker
- Everything about this film:
- President Kennedy himself; this was a man struck down in his prime, a man who gave so much to so many and was shot down before he could forfill more.
- Shortly before his assassination, it was President Kennedy's intention to reach a détente with Cuban Premier, Fidel Castro, and to withdraw all US military advisers from Vietnam. When he was killed, things took a differnt direction.
- Jackie Kennedy's reaction.[1]
- John Connally, the Govenor. He was haunted for the rest of his life and always wondered why he lived when the president died.
- Nellie Connally; she always found it unfair that her husband lived while Jackie's died.
- Clint Hill, the secret service agent who jumped into the car as it sped away. If you watch the Zapruder film, he is running full speed, and reaches the back of the car just in time for the bullet to hit the president in the head. The fact that Hill, being an agent, was risking his life to save the President's life, and his greatest failure was that he lived, makes it painfully tragic.
- Abraham Zapruder was deeply disturbed by the nightmare that he caught on film, he never used another camera again. He didn't even keep a copy of the footage.
- President Kennedy himself; this was a man struck down in his prime, a man who gave so much to so many and was shot down before he could forfill more.
- ↑ If you look carefully, you can notice a chunk of Kennedy's skull came off, and she was trying to reach for it as if to put it back on his head.
