• Alternate Character Interpretation: Nick didn't choose to have a Split Personality at all. What we're witnessing is a young man's descent into madness.
• Ensemble Darkhorse: Both Justin Long and Fred Willard's characters as well as just about any of the reputable character actors with smaller supporting roles.
• Magnificent Bastard: Nick shows signs of a budding one. Francois on the other hand takes it to the extreme. Though subverted when Nick stops letting Francois control things; he tries to be magnificent, but goes all smug instead.
