Wing Commander/Trivia
- Banned in China: In Wing Commander IV, the scene where Seether slits Captain Paulson's throat has two versions, with and without gushing blood. The latter is the one found on the German release of the game.
- Hey, It's That Guy!:
- Isn't that the guy from Star Wars?
- In III and IV, Blair's comrades include Gimli, Alex, AKA the guy who dropped a bridge on Captain Kirk, Biff Tannen, The guy from the Dharma films, and the main pilot from Stealth.
- Wing Commander IV has Johnny Rico offering to carry Colonel Blair's duffel bag, and Talia Winters is a Border Worlder biomedical researcher.
- Rachel Coriolis is played by porn star Ginger Lynn, though many of the younger players probably wouldn't have been initially aware of the fact given the ratings of her previous work.
- From The Movie: Blair is actually Cole Ortiz, Commander Gerald is the leader of House Atreides, while Maniac was once a hacker known as Cereal Killer. Then, there's Admiral Tolwyn, also known as Ed Dillinger, Jack the Ripper, and many other names.
- Also, a famous detective in command of the Tiger's Claw.
- Catscratch from Wing Commander IV is Master Ebulon.
- Hey, It's That Voice!:
- Fans of Mass Effect 2 might recognize Jacob's voice from Prophecy; he plays Zero.
- While the voice actor for Merlin, the Rapier's onboard AI in the movie, wasn't listed in the credits (a question mark was put where the actor's name would have been), it turns out that Merlin was voiced by none other than Mark Hamill, who played Blair in the games Wing Commander 3 and 4.
- From the tv series: Aside from Blair, Maniac, and Tolwyn being voiced by the actors that played them in the games, fans of the DCAU might find that Archer sounds an awful lot like a Hot Scoop who falls for an out of towner.
- Retroactive Recognition: Hey, it's Dr. Pierre Chang flying under the callsign "Vagabond"!
