Urotsukidouji/YMMV
- Animation Age Ghetto
- Complete Monster: Münchhausen.
- Also, Buju, who was a plundering rapist until his Heel Face Turn.
- Crowning Moment of Awesome: Amano Jyaku gets plenty of these!
- Ensemble Darkhorse: Amano's sister, Megumi Amano, is very popular among fans for her sexyness and being a strong source of fanservice for the viewers. One of people's biggest gripes in New Saga is how she was not included in the cast there.
- The random, nameless woman in Urotsukidouji New Saga episode 2 who got raped and killed by Demon!Ozaki. Many enjoy the scene with her due to how emotional and sexy/cute she was, and felt really bad for her because of how brutally she got killed off. Long after the series was canceled, people still make some fan art of her and express a lot of love and affection towards her. Pretty impressive for a one-scene character.
- Everybody Remembers the Stripper: Nevermind the huge, epic plot about the god of gods and parallel worlds and the destruction and birth of the world; most fans and the meager media coverage this gets focus almost exclusively on the Naughty Tentacles. This partly owes itself to the Sequelitis.
- Franchise Killer: New Saga suffered backlash for unnecessary changes in the storyline and characters, sloppy writing, unnecessarily violent scenes, poor animation, and poor characterization. Notably, no other movie or series was made after it.
- Germans Love David Hasselhoff: Urotsukidouji is by far the most well-know hentai series in Brazil (Besides world-famous ones such as Boku no Pico) thanks to being the only DUBBED hentai in the country (The dub itself is subject to Memetic Mutations and Youtube Poop very often)
- High Octane Nightmare Fuel
- Jumped the Shark: Many fans find that the series went downhill after the second installment.
- Sequelitis: Later installments pretty much did away with the plot and butchered the continuity of the previous ones to feature only Naughty Tentacles.
- Squick: Bodily fluids abound.
