Unsho Ishizuka
Unsho Ishizuka (May 16, 1951 - August 13, 2018) was a seiyuu with a deep, baritone voice. He is famous for being the Narrator from Pokémon.
Also very good for 'good' father figures, though like Fumihiko Tachiki, he can subvert it into 'bad' (or at least just 'strict') father, or straight up villains.
Also known for his remarkable singing prowess where his deep voice becomes extremely sensual.
Unsho Ishizuka has performed in the following roles:
- Professor Oak, the Narrator, Alder (Pokémon)
- Alex Rosewater in the Japanese dub of The Big O
- Vajramon (Digimon Tamers)
- Gen Fudou (Aquarion)
- Zabuza Momochi (Naruto)
- Void (Berserk)
- Sergei Smirnov (Mobile Suit Gundam 00)
- Gozaburo Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
- Moichi Taoka (Slam Dunk)
- Gustav (Gash Bell)
- Gantu in the Japanese dub of Lilo and Stitch.
- Horatio Caine in the Japanese dub of CSI: Miami
- Lex Luthor in the Japanese dub of Superman Returns
- Cpt. John Price in the Japanese dub of Modern Warfare 3
- Eugene Gallardo in Tales of Rebirth
- Ryotaro Dojima in Persona 4
- Admiral Kizaru in One Piece
- Jet Black in Cowboy Bebop
- Van Hohenheim in Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
- Mr. Satan in Dragon Ball Kai (replacing the late Daisuke Gouri)
- Heihachi Mishima in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Street Fighter X Tekken (two more Gouri replacements)
- Shio Sakaki in Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple
- Augus in Asura's Wrath.
