Ultra Seven X

Ultra Seven X is 2007 tokusatsu series produced by Tsuburaya Productions. It is a Darker and Edgier reimagining of the classic Ultra Seven series.

In the 23rd century, Deus agent Jin has contracted amnesia and is in a strange apartment. Upon waking up, he sees that he has a strange item, the Ultra Eye. With it, he can change into the mysterious giant called Ultra Seven X. Now, he must fight the alien invaders that threaten his world and figure out the mystery behind his missing memories.

The is the first Ultra in the Ultra Series to be aimed exclusively at adults.

Ultra Seven X contains examples of:

Action Girl: Agent S.
Badass: Jin/Ultrseven X.
Butt Monkey: Agent K, especially when Agent S is around.
Darker and Edgier: The darkest show of the entire Ultra Series.
Otaku O'Clock: Being aimed at adults, it was aired at 2.15am on CBC and 2.25am on TBS.
The Reveal: This is the same Ultraseven from the M78 universe bucked into the X world.
Sweet Tooth: Agent S really likes her chocolate balls.
