Trauma Center (series)/Trivia

• Contest Winner Cameo: The winner of a contest at E3 2009, Charlie Malone, was made into a patient in Trauma Team.
• Dueling Games: LifeSigns: Surgical Unit tried to provide a less fantastical take on digital operations, but Trauma Center is much more well-known, especially with its five games compared to LifeSigns' two, one of which never left Japan.
• Fan Nickname: Some just call the "Little Guy" either Michael or Hans, especially for fan fiction purposes.
• Follow the Leader: LifeSigns: Surgical Unit adopted a less realistic approach in surgeries to (presumably) compete with Trauma Center, compared to its mostly grounded (and Japanese-only) first game.
• Hey, It's That Voice!:
  • Thank goodness Dr. Blaylock remembered to bring lots of medi-gel, even though she left her boomstick behind.
  • Markus Vaughn is gonna RENOVATE your ASS!
  • The Trauma Team includes Roy Mustang, Orihime Inoue, Rei Ayanami, and Nathan Drake. Naomi's assistant is Sasuke Uchiha!
    • He's also the guy who stopped the Highbreed and saved the whole entire universe.
    • Yuri Lowenthal also voiced Derek Stiles.
    • Also, King Koopa appears as the mayor in the same game.
  • How much does it cost to get John Redcorn to play as Hank Freebird?
  • Nolan North from...well...everything.
  • And for Japan, in Trauma Center: New Blood. We have Japanese Jack Bauer, Argilla and Shamal as the main medical team and in Trauma Team, the dynamic VA duo Hitomi Nabatame and Shizuka Ito lends their voices along with Suzaku as a convicted surgeon.
• Name's the Same: Leslie Newman is not the first Nurse Leslie at Caduceus, but not the same person either.
• No Export for You: The series brutally ended in Europe with New Blood, as neither Trauma Center 2 nor Trauma Team came out there, for no apparent reason. At least the DS isn't region locked, allowing the former game to be imported.
