Toss the Turtle/WMG
That turtle is Too Kinky to Torture
Feel a bit guilty about all those horrible things you're doing to that poor turtle? Don't worry about it! The turtle likely signed up for this game himself to begin with, because he likes being thrown out of a cannon, shot at, bounced off various objects, etc. Yes, he may look horrified while being thrown through the air, and during the loading screen, but at the end of the toss (assuming he doesn't land on spikes or get abducted by aliens) he looks more exhausted than in pain.
This game takes place in a Bizarro Universe of Happy Tree Friends
Think about it. The Ridiculously Cute Critters in Happy Tree Friends are Made of Plasticine. Something as seemingly harmless as a playground ride or a shutting bus window can easily tear them apart. The just-as-cute turtle in Toss the Turtle is Made of Iron. Despite the Ludicrous Gibs throughout the game, he can be shot at, blown up, thrown out of the atmosphere, but as long as he doesn't hit the Spikes of Doom he'll be just fine in the end. Both works involve adorable cartoon animals getting involved in bloody violence, but the end result is quite different.
