• Conflict Ball: Part of the Signature Style, as it mostly runs off of Poor Communication Kills.
• Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy: One of the major criticisms of his writing can be summed up in this (atleast after Agito). The situations are always bleak and will seemingly never work out, main characters are usually jerkasses in varying levels and the few nice guys there exists are usually Butt Monkeys.
• High Octane Nightmare Fuel: Most episodes of the Sentai shows he wrote in The Eighties. You can also count his work on Jetman as well.
• Wangst: He does this to his characters in spades.
