Tokyo Xtreme Racer/Trivia
- Franchise Killer Import Tuner Challenge was originally this for three reasons. 1) Most of the locations from past installments were removed. The only locations in the game were New Belt Line and C1. 2) The game was the easiest in the series, to the point where each race feels like your opponents are just letting you win and that you can literally beat the game from start to finish without EVER losing. Even the game's True Final Boss won't put up much of a fight. 3) The vehicle roster is too limited. Even the base cars of the custom cars (such as Rolling Guy's AE86) can't be found.
- Then we have Shutokou Battle Xtreme, which is pretty much the final nail in the series' coffin. It's nothing more than a half-assed online-only mobile game that that plays nothing like any of the previous entries. Likely, it's actually a boring drag racing game that forces you to waste hours upon hours of your life grinding cash from races just to get whatever item you're after. Now that the game's servers have shut down as of November 11, 2017, it looks like TXR is no more.
