Tilda Swinton provides examples of the following tropes:
- Ambiguous Gender, Gender Bender, Viewer Gender Confusion: Has many of roles like this, such as archangel Gabriel.
- Ice Queen: Many of her roles. She's literally an ice queen in Narnia.
- Identical Stranger: She and Thom Yorke look uncannily like each other. [dead link]
- Mean Character, Nice Actor: Has done many nasty characters.
- Rule of Tilda Swinton: "Tilda Swinton is mentioned on the poster = Tilda is a goddess and can do no wrong." Same reason why she is obligated to appear in every Narnia movie despite her character only being present in two of the books!
- Typecasting: As a cold androgyne.
- White-Haired Pretty Girl: As the White Witch and as the Angel Gabriel.
