Tights Under Shorts/Playing With

Basic Trope: A character (usually a girl) wears shorts over tights.

• Straight: Alice, who doesn't like showing her legs, wears shorts over her tights.
• Exaggerated: Every female character wear shorts over their tights as a Clingy Costume.
  • Alice wears shorts over tights with every outfit.
• Inverted: Proper Tights with a Skirt.
  • Alternatively, the tights, usually fishnets, are worn over the shorts.
• Subverted: Alice decides to forgo the tights.
• Double Subverted: Alice takes the tights with her, and during a break, she decides to put them back on.
• Parodied: Even the males wear tights under shorts.
• Played for Laughs: Only the characters with the most disgusting legs are shown with shorts over their tights, complete with an Exaggerated play on Gross Up Close-Up. All the ones who have nice legs are shown with modest clothes most of the time.
