  • Captain George Kirk yet again deals with lightning in space.
  • Sgt. James is a black ops archer, aka Hawkeye.
  • Stringer Bell sees all. You might also recognize him as Luther.
  • The Punisher sure let himself go.
    • That's TITUS FUCKIN' PULLO you're talking about!
  • Luke Skywalker's Mommy is crushing on Captain James T. Kirk's dad.
    • Does that mean that the T stands for Thor in the new Trek-verse?
      • More likely it stands for Thorson.
    • It could certainly explain Anakin's turning to the dark side . . . unless Thor is Luke/Leia's Dad . . .
  • Hannibal Lecter is the All-Father.
    • He's impressively difficult to recognize under all that beard, though.
  • Jesse steps into place as Lady of War Sif.
  • Thor's buddies with Kakihara.
  • Odin and Selvig are Hrothgar and... Hrothgar. (From the 2007 Beowulf film and 2005's Beowulf and Grendel respectively.)
  • Fandral is Prince Charming.
• I Call It Vera: Thor & Loki both wield named weapons: Mjölnir, the hammer, and Gungnir, Odin's spear. Clark Gregg, who plays Agt. Phil Coulson, felt that he also should have a named weapon, so he christened his sidearm "Glockenspiel."
• What Could Have Been:
  • Brian Blessed was originally slated to play Odin. Zachary Levi of Chuck and Stuart Townsend had both been cast as Fandrall before Joshua Dallas took over. Alexander Skarsgard was also tested for the role of Thor, which would have made for an interesting dynamic considering his dad is playing Erik. Daniel Craig, and Channing Tatum were also considered for the role of Thor.
  • Not only does Titus Pullo play Volstagg, but Kevin McKidd (AKA Lucius Vorenus) was originally slated to play Dr. Donald Blake before the character was cut from the story. If he'd stayed in, Pullo and Vorenus would've gotten one hell of a reunion.
