• Alternative Character Interpretation: Emile. Was she a remorseless psychopath with no morals who abused and tormented her adopted daughter since birth for her own twisted amusement? Or is Leanne correct in her belief that Emile could only express her feelings through violence and truly did love her in her own twisted fashion?
• Complete Monster: Emile. She stabs and kills a friar instantly who tried to prevent her from killing a ten-year-old boy. This is one of her minor sins.
