The World Ends with Sho
The World Ends with Sho is a work of fiction created by Endark Culi. As the name suggests, it is based upon the Square Enix video game The World Ends With You. The story can be found here.
In a Bizarro Universe, Sho Minamimoto (an Ensemble Darkhorse from the original title) is merely a math-loving teenager that's gotten himself into one heck of a mess. Waking up in the middle of the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, he realises that he should currently be dead, for reasons he can't quite recall immediately. As he apparently traded away his confidence in order to play the Reaper Game, Sho finds that he must work with oddballs such as Higashizawa in order to survive and return to life. However, is that really all there is to it, or is there a deeper problem that must be solved before Sho can attain his goal?
Three out of the planned twenty-one chapters have been uploaded. The story has been on hiatus since September 2008, mainly due to the author's habit of procrastinating things.
