The Interference/YMMV
- Harsher in Hindsight: Joumae is Alex's darkness in human form. A few years later, a character fitting a similar origin appears in Birth By Sleep - Vanitas.
- Made even harsher in the fourth story.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: The process by which Roxas gives Kairi a Keyblade via Alex in the first story is identical to the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremory in Birth By Sleep.
- Omniscient Morality License: To a degree, Alex might have this, in that he is partially Railroading the stories in order to fit most of what they usually are, while "fixing" what he thinks could be changed. He does recognize some of this, like how performing a Heroic Sacrifice against Lavos affected his friends, but only after the fact. This is why he isn't prepared for all of that control to be taken away from him forcibly in the fourth story, most notably his heart unlocking from Joumae's interference, while Jak and Daxter are prepared to fight him more or less, having been essentially going with the flow for their entire franchise.
From The Interference: Legends forum
- Awesome Anachronistic Apparel: Rose plays this trope deadly straight and averts it. Her normal attire is entirely black. An alternate attire she picked up in Empire City is not this, but she doesn't mind much.
- Complete Monster: Isaac Koniro "Reaper" Zivaku in The War of Heaven and Hell. Just read it.
- Crack Pairing: One of the threads in the Chatting Lobby's Meme Space is dedicated to these. Count it as an version of the Troper Tales page from people who are not afraid to be anonymous.
- Crazy Awesome:
- Joseph Fischer. Over-the-top, in your face, just outright nuts.
- Steve Phoenix qualifies to an extent, as well.
- Crowning Moment of Awesome:
- Crowning Moment of Funny: In the thread "Coming Home," Flare's Charizard, named Cupcake, threw the covers off of Patricia in an attempt to wake her up...only to discover that she was not clad in her normal jeans, but rather, in a pair of pink panties. All hell breaks loose. Thing was, Flare was pissed after the fact, but it doesn't detract from the hilarity of the situation much. Pyro's reaction is especially priceless:
Pyro: "S-Sorry! I didn't mean to look at your pink panties!"
- Crowning Moment of Heartwarming:
- At the end of "Empty Carols".
- "Lonesome Moon." The entire bloody thread.
- Draco in Leather Pants: Okay, so Kaztos Niemory likes to charm girls that are already taken, mess with their minds to turn them into Blood Knights, and is a Blood Knight himself. But who cares?! He's smexy!
- Gary Stu:
- Joseph Fischer is actually an odd case as, despite a textbook Stu, Joseph is a surprisingly well liked by the authors and characters.
- He is now. It's a remarkably slow, subtle case of Rescued from the Scrappy Heap.
- And look what he has become now.
- Derest, Derest, Derest, Derest, Derest, Derest, DEREST! Seriously, the guy got powerups up the wazoo, ability to fuse them all, an undead vampire, the Restriction Levels, promotion, laser blade claws and his reaction? Angst about how he wasn't powerful enough. Made you wonder exactly what idiot the creator of this character was.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: Victory Everstrong, a character made in 2007, shares most of her history with Xion.
- Launcher of a Thousand Ships: Due to Shiro's flexibility... He can be paired with most, and it mean most of the cast.
- The Woobie:
- Yuki is a prime example of this, though several characters have taken on the role.
- Stoic Woobie: Rose. She's suffering, but will never allow anyone to know it, even though she does a horrible job at masking her pain.
