The Hoosiers
The Hoosiers are a band originally from Reading, England. They have three members: Irwin Sparkes, Alfonso Sharland and Martin Skarendahl. Originally founded in 2007, when they released their first album, The Trick to Life. Three years later, they released The Illusion of Safety.
The Hoosiers provides examples of the following tropes:
- Darker and Edgier: One of their songs on their album will be darker than the other: "Killer" and "Little Brutes", respectively.
- Harmony Versus Discipline: Their song Goodbye Mr. A
- Non-Indicative Name: They originate from England, not, as their name would suggest, Indiana.
