The Ghost Writer (film)/Fridge

  • Fridge Brilliance: Upon first viewing of the film The Ghost Writer, I merely thought it was a very engaging, well written thriller. Then it hit me. The inherent brilliance in the title, which made even more sense in the novel. He wasn't just any ghost writer, he was telling his story from beyond the grave! Truly, a well-executed story.
    • He is a ghost, which is why we never got to know his name.
    • Also the reasons why Ruth didn't want to be included in the book.
  • Fridge Logic: They could have avoided the danger of the writer stumbling onto things, simply by hiring a CIA-friendly author instead.
