The Final Sacrifice/YMMV
- Ensemble Darkhorse: Rowsdower.
"Just between you and me and the wall, I think a major error was made in their film archetype-ology. Zap was clearly supposed to be the intermediary guy; the hard-drinking, tough-but-lovable, car-won't-start sidekick to the hero. However, we were short one hero, and its not 'till the end of the movie that you realize that Troy and Zap's journey isn't to bring Troy to the hero (to whom Zap should be the sidekick), but in fact, Zap is the hero..." - Mary Jo Pehl
- Memetic Badass: Rowsdower, in terms of popularity, might be up there with Torgo.
- Narm: "I'm Rowsdower. Zap Rowsdower!"
- Narm Charm: "I'm Rowsdower. Zap Rowsdower!"
- Snark Bait: The fate of any Mystery Science Theater 3000 target.
- So Bad It's Good: It's one of the few movies to appear on Mystery Science Theater 3000 that seems watchable on its own. Even Crow admits it's really not as awful as the usual MSTed flick. It's hard to truly hate this movie simply because you get the impression that the cast and crew really wanted to make a decent flick, but just couldn't afford to.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The entire cast of Zap and Troy: The Legendary Journeys should be female.
Crow: But Rowsdower...?
Mike: A big hairy girl!
- This Is Your Premise on Drugs: It's like Indiana Jones, in Canada, on Valium. With a $29.50 budget.
- Vindicated by Cable: The Mystery Science Theater 3000 showings rescued the film from total obscurity, though mostly outside of Canada, where Mystery Science Theater 3000 itself was more obscure.
