The Elven Bride
Produced in 1995 by Pink Pineapple Studio, The Elven Bride is a two-episode Hentai OVA. Kenji, a human, and Milfa, an elf, get married, but on the night of their wedding discover that their species and respective genital size make consummating their marriage difficult. Thus begins Kenji's quest to find the ultimate lubricant.
Tropes used in The Elven Bride include:
- Censor Steam: In one case censor bubbles are used.
- Double Standard Rape (Female on Male): Perio is treated as a Complete Monster for his advances on Milfa, but Kenji's grandmother Mitsuko's assault on a security guard is played for laughs even as said guard actually complains that he's getting raped beforehand, but once he sees Mitsuko's shapeshifted form he gets so into it that they do it one hundred and eight times.
- Exotic Equipment: Several women at the gynecological clinic in the second episode apparently deal with this type of thing a lot.
- Fantasy Kitchen Sink: The second episode opens with a montage of the various creatures in the world, and one woman at the gynecological clinic says that she has hobbit ancestry.
- Fantastic Racism: Milfa and Kenji are persecuted because of how humans view elves, and the elves seem to feel the same way since Milfa's parents don't show up to her wedding.
- Hair of Gold: Milfa
- Half-Human Hybrid: Harpians are the result of a Harpian and a human mating, while Harpies are what happens if two Harpians mate, so Harpians are continually abducting human males to keep their population up.
- Male-to-Female Universal Adaptor: Subverted, since the fact that they're not this drives the whole plot.
- Horny Devils: Mitsuko is implied to be something similar, since she steals spirit from men to make herself look young.
- Mars Needs Women: Or rather, Harpians need human males.
- Out with a Bang: Gaku, the security guard, and Perio
- Overly Long Tongue: Perio. Ew.
