The Chronicles of Narnia/Awesome
The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
- When the frozen waterfall is coming apart and the children are surrounded by wolves, Peter drives his sword into the ice and manages to keep himself, Susan and Lucy together as the waterfall comes down on them and washes the wolves away.
- In the middle of the final battle, the White Witch is using her wand to petrify most of the good Narnians. Edmund, a little boy with only a few days' worth of sword training, jumps down on her and smashes the wand himself.
- Aslan returning from the dead.
- Aslan's roar in his Big Damn Heroes moment at the end that shocked the White Witch into silence.
Prince Caspian
- In Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Lucy gets a Crowning Moment of Awesome near the end. the enemy army is retreating across a bridge from the Narnian army, when Lucy appears at the far end. She draws a small knife. The army stops in its tracks. Then again, there's a lion (which is
practically aGod) standing right beside her.- Was This Troper and her friends the only one that was reminded of Alia of the knife when she did that?
- Another moment would be after the black magic scene, when Edmund stabs the apparition of the White Witch.
- What makes it even more awesome is that Edmund had gotten so much flack in the first movie for being tricked into what Peter and Caspian were about to walk into with their eyes wide open. It showed how much Edmund had grown and how the other two were acting like bratty kings. That's what made it awesome.
- For this troper, it was his line to Peter: "I know: You had it sorted."
- Edmund gets another one in his first fight with Trumpkin the dwarf.
Trumpkin: (as Peter draws his sword) Ohhh, you don't want to be doing that, lad.
Peter: (as he hands the sword to Trumpkin) Not me. Him. (indicating Edmund)
- More Edmund. "So you're bravely refusing to fight someone half your age?"
- Susan gets one too, when she manages to take out almost all of a bunch of riders pursuing her and Lucy through the woods. Okay, Caspian has to dispatch the last one, but still...
- Don't forget during the castle fight, she shoots a guard with an arrow, then stabs one with another arrow and follows that by throwing it into the chest of another guard.
- And let's not forget Peter's defeat of King Miraz:
Miraz: Too much of a coward to take a life?
Peter: It's not mine to take.
- Reepicheep's whole role was a Crowning Moment of Awesome.
Pattertwig: (enthusiastically) We can gather nuts!
Reepicheep: Yes, and we'll throw them at the Telmarines! (sarcasm washed away) Shut up.
- This Troper hadn't realized that Eddie Izzard was the voice of Reepicheep until that line.
- The cat.
- Indeed.
- Reepicheep at the end, the voice actor delivering the EXACT LINES that CS Lewis wrote in such a way that it sounded like a typical ramble from one of his comedy routines.
- This troper feels the unnamed minotaur who holds up the castle gate, even after being peppered with arrows, so that the Narnian army can retreat also deserves a CMoA.
- Yes, yes he does. As does the centaur that's stuck on the wrong side of the gate in that scene who sees what this troper believes is his wife, nods at her, then turns around and rides into the guards attacking the the others stuck behind that gate. They
mightwill kill him, but by Aslan, he'll take them down with him. - Actually, that was a son saying goodbye to his father. Doesn't make it any less powerful. His wife was back at the How with their son; she's the one who cries when the father (Glenstorm, his name is) returns alone.
- Yes, yes he does. As does the centaur that's stuck on the wrong side of the gate in that scene who sees what this troper believes is his wife, nods at her, then turns around and rides into the guards attacking the the others stuck behind that gate. They
Voyage of the Dawn Treader
- The series has a real life one just for Voyage of the Dawn Treader being made with almost all the relevant original cast members, after everyone thought the series was dead after the subpar box office of Prince Caspian.
- In the fight with the sea serpent we finally get to see Lucy fight as she gets a perfect shot with an arrow into the creature's head.
- When Eustace is turned back from being a dragon, he grabs the final sword and runs all the way back up to Aslan's table to place it there and defeat the Dark Island's evil.
