The Assassination Bureau
The Assassination Bureau is a 1969 British film based on The Assassination Bureau, Ltd, an unfinished novel by Jack London.
In the Edwardian Era, Intrepid Reporter Sonia Winter (Diana Rigg) uncovers an organisation that specialises in killing for money, the Assassination Bureau, Limited. Outraged, she comissions the assassination of its leader, Ivan Dragomiloff (Oliver Reed). Dragomiloff, however, instead of furious or offended, it's grateful. You see, the Assassination Bureau traditionally only took jobs for offing people who deserve to be killed, usually despots and tyants, but lately the members have been taking jobs for more mercenary reasons. So he uses this job to challenge the members of the Bureau: kill him, or he will kill them!
