• Designated Hero: Who is the hero of this movie? Not Bob, his major contribution to the movie was uncovering Victor's secret experiments and his Jerkass Nature, but that's because everyone else is Captain Obvious. After that, he does nothing important. Victor? Hell no! Guy is a douchebag since scene one, always whining about something, acting like he owns the place, and doing the experiments, regardless of the risks. And in the last part of the movie, he suddenly becomes important...and makes a Heroic Sacrifice.
• Romantic Plot Tumor: Emphasis on the tumor.
• The Scrappy: Victor, one of the more whiny, oily characters seen in MST3K. The riffers spend a good chuck of his scenes insulting him.
